We offer a diverse number of life-enhancing services to our clients and every member of our team is essential in achieving this.We are seeking an ADOS who will take responsibility for the delivery of all Twin English Centre Ireland academic performance targets by ensuring EFL teachers work effectively and cohesively. Assisting the Director of Studies in managing the academic team of Twin English Centre Dublin, including school administration, all classroom activity and health and safety. Our successful candidate will work with the Director of Studies to ensure that teaching quality is monitored, school administration is completed to a high standard, welfare standards are maintained, and regulatory compliance is adhered to.The job is extremely varied and requires someone who is dynamic, creative, approachable, caring, and able to work accurately under pressure and think on their feet.Responsibilities
  • Student academic induction and placement testing.
  • Timetabling and allocation of teachers.
  • Placing students on CLASS.
  • Run level change testing.
  • Assist with booking end-of-course exams (TIE, IELTS) and communicate with students reaching end of course.
  • Assist with booking TOEIC exams and invigilators for groups and other exams as they arise.
  • Teacher induction and training.
  • Attendance and lesson plan monitoring.
  • Mentor new teachers.
  • Conduct Clil classes upon completion of training.
  • Conduct specialised classes.
  • Participate in Teacher Training programme.
  • Teach/cover on G.E. classes where necessary.
  • Run TIE prep tutorials for students.
  • Assist with student queries.
  • General Administration and other associated tasks.
Education /Qualification
  • Educated to degree level.
  • Diploma level qualification (DELTA/Trinity TESOL Diploma and/or MA with a substantial element of observed teaching practice) desired.
Skills and Experience
Essential
  • At least three years of full-time teaching experience including some with young learners.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
  • Experience working as part of a team.
  • IT literate
Desirable, but not essential:
  • Previous managerial experience
  • Administrative experience
  • Safeguarding training
  • Customer service experience
  • Ability to speak a second language.
Additional Information
Salary: €40,000 per annum depending on experience
Location: Dublin
Contract: Permanent - Full Time
Hours: Monday to Friday 08:30 – 17:00
