Working Model: On-site (five days per week)Abrivia are currently recruiting for a Claims Manager to join our client in South Dublin. This position will have a number of team leaders reporting into them and you will provide leadership, structure and direction across the broader damage function.Reporting directly to senior management, the successful candidate will take responsibility for guiding the teams, shaping operational processes, and ensuring consistent delivery of service standards. This position is well suited to someone ready to step beyond day-to-day team leadership into a wider operational management remit.Your Role
- Lead and support the two Motor Team Managers, ensuring clear direction and alignment across the damage and claims function.
- Oversee team performance, workflows and output quality to maintain high operational standards.
- Develop, implement and refine processes, procedures and quality frameworks.
- Provide guidance on complex technical matters while supporting managers in resolving Claims.
- Analyse claims and performance data to identify trends, risks and opportunities for improvement.
- Work closely with senior management to support departmental strategy and relieve administrative workload.
- Foster a culture of accountability, development and continuous improvement across the teams.
- Strong managerial experience within motor damage or a similar claims environment.
- Proven ability to oversee team leaders or managers in a busy operational setting.
- Strong technical grounding in motor damage claims with confidence handling escalated issues.
- Experience designing or improving operational processes and procedures.
- Strong analytical, organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to drive team performance while maintaining a hands-on understanding of day-to-day operations and claims.
- Proactive, adaptable and comfortable working at pace in a people-focused environment.
