This is a permanent, full-time role with a supportive team environment and opportunities for professional growth.Your New Job:
As Credit Control Manager, you'll oversee a portfolio of customer accounts and manage the end-to-end accounts receivable process. This is a hands-on role, where you will mentor the credit control team, and collaborate with key internal teams. The position is full-time, office-based at least four days a week.Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage and collect outstanding balances for a portfolio of customers
- Lead, coach, and develop the accounts receivable/credit control team
- Oversee accurate invoicing, cash allocation, debt reviews, and reconciliation
- Carry out regular recovery calls and negotiate payment arrangements
- Supervise credit assessments, authorise credit notes, and manage write-offs
- Produce and analyse AR and aged debt reports
- Set KPIs for team targets and monitor performance
- Identify and implement efficiency improvements in finance systems and processes
- At least 5 years' finance experience with strong exposure to AR, AP, and cashflow
- Minimum 3 years in both accounts receivable and team leadership
- Proficiency in systems such as Sage, SAP, Salesforce, plus advanced Excel
- Experience working with Irish and UK markets (desirable)
- Finance qualification (IATI, ACCA, CIMA or similar) is a plus
- Fluent English and full right to work in Ireland
- Must be able to commute or relocate to Cavan
