MayoAn excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR Manager to join a well-established organisation based in Co. Mayo. This role will suit a suitably experienced HR professional who can manage the full HR function while supporting the organisation's training and development needs.The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting management and employees across a range of HR activities including employee relations, compliance, and staff development.The role is based in Mayo and is **commutable from the major towns across the county including Castlebar, Ballina, Westport, Claremorris and Swinford.A part-time option (3 days per week) may also be considered if the role requirements can be effectively carried out within these hours.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and oversee the full Human Resources function within the organisationProvide support and guidance to management on employee relations and HR best practicesLead and coordinate training and development initiatives to support employee growthDevelop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures in line with Irish employment legislationManage disciplinary, grievance, and performance management processesWork with employee representatives within a unionised environmentAssist with and represent the organisation where required in Workplace Relations Commission (WRC) proceedingsSupport compliance initiatives including Health & Safety policies and proceduresMaintain HR documentation and support organisational HR reportingRequirementsProven experience in a HR Manager or Senior HR roleStrong understanding of Irish employment law and HR best practicesExperience working in a unionised environment is highly desirableExperience dealing with WRC proceedings would be an advantageExperience supporting training and development programmesKnowledge or experience relating to Health & Safety compliance would be beneficialExcellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage a broad HR remit and work independentlyWhat's on OfferOpportunity to lead and develop the HR function within a well-established organisation in MayoFlexible structure with the possibility of a part-time (3-day) roleCompetitive salary depending on experienceRole located in Co.
