Matrix Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Private Equity Fund Accounting Team Lead to join a leading financial services organisation based in Limerick.This is a 12-month contract with some possibility of extension or other opportunities arising. The position offers a hybrid working model.This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a leadership role where you'll oversee a dedicated team, manage client deliverables, and drive process improvements within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.What you'll be doing

Assist in lead and supporting a growing Private Equity Fund Accounting team, managing workloads and reviewing outputs.
Deliver accurate NAVs, valuations, and regulatory reporting to agreed deadlines.
Act as a key point of contact for clients, investors, and auditors.
Mentor, coach, and develop team members to reach their potential.
Contribute to strategic projects, including system automation and process enhancements.
Ensure a high standard of client service while fostering a collaborative team culture.

What we're looking for

Professional accounting qualification with 5+ years' post-qualified experience.
Solid technical knowledge of Irish/UK GAAP, US GAAP, IFRS.
Experience in Fund Accounting/Private Equity.
Strong people mentorship / leadership skills.
Excellent communication and problem-solving ability.
Advanced Excel skills and experience with system improvement projects an advantage.
