Financial Accountant - Successful Irish Business - ClonmelAn established and highly successful Irish-owned business is seeking a Financial Accountant to join its expanding finance team.Following significant growth in recent years, the company has scaled rapidly and now, with continued expansion planned, this is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic organisation where finance plays a key role in shaping strategy and driving performance. This position offers broad exposure across financial and management accounting, commercial analysis, and business partnering - ideal for a recently qualified accountant looking to step into a well-rounded, high-impact role.The OpportunityWorking closely with senior leadership and stakeholders across the business, you'll support decision-making through high-quality reporting, analysis, and insight while contributing to process improvements and strategic initiatives.Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare monthly management accounts, budgets, and forecasts
  • Deliver meaningful KPIs and performance analysis to support decision-making
  • Provide commercial insight into margins, costs, and overheads
  • Partner with operational leaders and senior management
  • Support budgeting and strategic planning processes
  • Assist with tax compliance, statutory reporting, and audit activities
  • Contribute to internal controls, governance, and process enhancements
  • Participate in finance-related projects and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Provide ad-hoc analysis and value-add support across the business
About You
  • Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA), 2+ years' PQE
  • Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Commercially aware with strong communication skills
  • Proactive and keen to take ownership in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable engaging with stakeholders at all levels
