Type: Full Time, Permanent, Office-based
Package: €35-45,000Dublin 24-based freight forwarder now seeks an experienced Import Customs Broker for multimodal clearances. The company are a small niche operator that offers Freight solutions throughout the world, both FCL and LCL.Duties & Responsibilities:
- Irish Import and Export customs declarations
- Northern Irish declarations using TSS
- ENS & PBN declarations
- TRACES submissions for Imports & Exports
- Liaising with relevant regulatory authorities
- Creating and discharging T1 & T2 documents
- Economic Procedure management (Inward Processing, End Use or Outward Processing Relief)
- Simplified Procedure management (ISP, EIDR)
- Liaising with Trader, Freight Forwarders & Distributors for relevant documentation
- Complete reporting for both the Customer & Revenue.
- Compliance-focused approach to all Regulatory & company procedures
- Assist in follow-up Compliance Testing.
- Compile entries and supporting information
- Minimum of three years Irish Import Customs Clearance experience within a busy multimodal Freight Forwarder.
- Up-to-date knowledge Customs knowledge in Ireland with UK & NI Customs knowledge a distinct advantage.
- Experience with TARIC, ROSA, AEP, AIS, NCTS, and CHIEF would be preferred
- A working and up-to-date knowledge of European Customs procedures & practice, including Import / Export Clearance; Community Transit (Manual & NCTS knowledge).
