The Supervised Access Contact Worker plays a vital role in supporting families who use the Men's Network Resource Centre's facilities for supervised contact and access meetings. This position ensures that all interactions between family members take place in a safe, neutral, and child-focused environment. The worker is responsible for supervising visits, maintaining accurate records, and always upholding the Centre's policies and safety standards. Key Responsibilities: Supervision of Access Visits: Oversee scheduled contact sessions between children and visiting family members in accordance with Centre policies and court directives. Ensure that all visits are conducted in a safe, respectful, and positive environment. Safety and Compliance: Monitor all interactions to ensure compliance with the Centre's safety rules and procedures. Respond appropriately to any signs of conflict, distress, or policy breaches, following established protocols for intervention and reporting. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate, objective, and confidential records of each supervised visit. Document attendance, behaviour, and any incidents or concerns, ensuring that reports are clear, factual, and completed promptly. Communication and Support: Serve as a professional point of contact for clients, providing clear information about the Centre's guidelines and expectations. Communicate effectively and respectfully with all participants, always maintaining neutrality and professionalism. Centre Maintenance and Readiness: Prepare the facility before and after each visit to ensure a welcoming, safe, and orderly environment. This includes setting up rooms, ensuring appropriate resources are available, and reporting any maintenance or safety concerns.
