Responsibilities of the Sourcing Manager include:

Identify and deliver the best-value own brand products for retail and wholesale, ensuring quality and low cost.
Plan and manage the annual sourcing calendar to meet business needs on time and at the right cost.
Lead tenders, negotiate with suppliers, and secure contracts for your categories at the lowest cost.
Agree on pricing, lead times, and terms with suppliers to reduce cost and guarantee supply.
Support Buying Group projects through all tender stages to deliver quality products at the best price.
Suggest improvements to simplify processes and make the business more efficient.
Build strong relationships with suppliers and internal teams to support sourcing success.
Track market trends, manage budgets, and update the business regularly on savings and project progress.

Requirements for the Sourcing Manager include:

Minimum of 3 years Sourcing/Buying experience.
Business-focused 3rd Level Qualification.
Experience in planning, strategic sourcing, negotiating, contracting and supplier management.
Strong project management and leadership skills.
Understanding of requirements for importing into Ireland.
Understanding of market trends and sound business judgement.
Attention to detail, ability to prioritise, comfortable with figures and in collecting, analysing, and interpreting data.
