This position is ideal for a driven scientific, engineering, or computer science graduate with experience in the R&D tax credit and grant incentives space who is eager to join Grant Thornton's expanding R&D Incentives practice. We are seeking a number of assistant manager and technical consultants with experience in the R&D tax credit and grant incentives space. The role offers the chance to play a key part in the development and success of our business.Key Duties:
- Collaborate directly with clients from various industries, using your expertise to assess the eligibility of R&D project activities for tax relief under Irish legislation and Revenue guidance.
- Take the lead on client engagements, conduct stakeholder interviews, and identify qualifying R&D activities.
- Prepare and review submissions to Irish Revenue and funding bodies, maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.
- Oversee multiple client engagements and review outputs from colleagues.
- Assist in the preparation of proposals to prospective clients.
- Work across a diverse client portfolio, ensuring that quality standards and risk controls are consistently maintained.
- Scientific / engineering / computer science qualified or experienced.
- 1-2 years post-qualification experience in R&D tax credits or incentives, gained within a professional services or advisory setting.
- Demonstrated ability to lead client engagements, manage stakeholder relationships, and deliver high-quality results within tight timeframes.
