- Partner with the leadership team to understand and execute the business's human resource and talent strategy particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning.
- Provide support and guidance to HR generalists, management, and other staff when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise.
- Manages the talent acquisition process, which may include recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of qualified job applicants, particularly for managerial, exempt, and professional roles; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
- Analyses trends in compensation and benefits; researches and proposes competitive base and incentive pay programs to ensure the organization attracts and retains top talent.
- Creates learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for employees.
- Oversees employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
- Maintains compliance with Ireland and UK employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
- Partnering with the management team to ensure effective execution of all Dublin and Exeter Aerospace HR processes for the business.
- Promote Diversity, Equity and Inclusion
- Responsible for the management, administration and processing of monthly payroll for all sites.
- Employee Relations work is focused on promoting a positive workplace environment. You will manage all employee relations issues (e.g., investigating employee and/or supervisor complaints regarding conduct, performance, or attendance, mediation between employees, monitoring diversity/equal employment opportunity program compliance, etc.)
- Coaching managers and employees through the probation and performance management process.
- Management and update of the company's HR Management System - CORE HR
- Management and control of all employee data in line with European GDPR Requirements
- Lead and management on staff engagement initiatives
- Support the CEO in driving the people and culture plan
- Third level degree in Business, Human Resources or Organizational Psychology.
- CIPD accreditation would be an advantage or a post-graduate qualification in HR.
- You will have a minimum of 5 years HR Management experience working at leadership level
- Strong knowledge and understanding of Irish and UK employment law.
- Excellent people manager, strong influencer, opinion leader and decision maker
- Proven experience in building effective relationships
- Ability to work proactively on your own initiative is a key factor.
- Sound knowledge and understanding of digital HR tools and software. Experience with CORE HR would be an advantage.
