Job Description:This is an exciting opportunity to join an established team servicing global client. Bank Loans is a niche and growing area of focus across the industry This is a client facing team responsible for an EMEA (Europe, the Middle East and Africa) book of business, approximately $2.26 Billion in Assets Under Management. Dublin operates as part of a wider Global Bank Loans team with significant interactions with our Brooklyn, Bangalore and Manila locations.As a Bank Loans Associate in our Bank Loans Team, you will be responsible for oversight of offshore daily and monthly tasks, investigation of cash and position breaks and escalation to client, data collection for annual audit reviews and investigating unsubstantiated assets.Job Responsibilities
  • Processing and oversight of loan administration including Paydowns/Drawdowns, Interest rate resets, Payment in Kind interest, Delayed Compensation & Economic Benefit calculations
  • Position & Cash break investigation & resolution with offshore team
  • Ensure Quality Control of all team production is completed by agreed deadlines
  • Ensure that all controls and procedures outlined in the procedures manual and general company policies are complied with across all groups
  • Management of Internal and external Audit requests
  • On-going review of daily controls and communication of any new training or procedural changes to your team
  • Root cause and corrective action identification for KPI themes
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Bachelor degree required; preferably Finance, Business Management, Accounting, or Economics
  • Complete understanding of the Fund Administration & NAV delivery process
  • Ability to interface with management & clients
  • Ability to proactively identify issues and implement solutions
  • Strong analytical & interpersonal skills
  • Excellent client service orientation and experience
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Previous experience in a Fund Administration environment
  • Knowledge of the Bank Debt asset class, including Primary and Secondary market trading; some exposure to loan closing is preferred
  • Leadership Acumen
  • Microsoft Office skills: Excel (Intermediate to Expert level), Word and PowerPoint
