Optimize Recruitment, working closely with our client, are seeking a Setting Out Engineer for a residential housing development in Enniscorthy. The company, a well-established private developer, has a strong pipeline of work in both Enniscorthy and Wexford Town, offering secure long-term prospects for the successful candidate.The role will involve overseeing setting out duties and technical site coordination on a busy housing development, working closely with the Site Manager, subcontractors, and design team to ensure project accuracy and quality.Salary & Benefits

- Carry out precise setting out using Total Stations and GPS
- Coordinate drawings, levels, and site information with accuracy
- Work alongside the Site Manager and Project Manager
- Assist in maintaining programme schedules and documentation
- Oversee quality checks and adherence to design specs
- Manage survey data and ensure dimensional accuracy
- Liaise with subcontractors and resolve on-site queries
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards
- 3+ years’ experience as a Site/Setting Out Engineer (Ideally in Ireland/UK)
- Strong experience using Total Stations and GPS highly desirable
- Relevant third-level qualification in Engineering or Construction
- Previous experience on residential or housing projects preferred
- Strong technical, communication, and coordination skills
- Ability to work on own initiative and within a close-knit team
