About the RoleAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Procurement Specialist to join a dynamic and forward-thinking procurement function based in Dublin. This position focuses on indirect procurement categories, particularly IT and Professional Services, and plays a pivotal role in managing strategic sourcing initiatives and delivering value across the organisation.Key Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end sourcing and procurement processes for indirect categories, primarily IT (hardware, software, services) and Professional Services.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and align procurement strategies accordingly.
  • Conduct market analysis, supplier evaluations, RFPs/RFIs, negotiations, and contract management.
  • Drive cost savings, supplier performance, and risk mitigation initiatives.
  • Maintain strong governance and compliance with procurement policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders and suppliers.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of procurement practices, tools, and processes.
Ideal Candidate Profile
  • Minimum 5 years of procurement experience, with a focus on indirect categories such as IT and Professional Services.
  • Previous experience in the financial services industry is a distinct advantage.
  • Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication capabilities, with a proven ability to influence and engage at all levels.
  • Strategic thinker with attention to detail and a solution-oriented mindset.
  • Knowledge of procurement tools/systems and best practices.
