In return, there is excellent salary, career progression, educational support and much more.DeltaV Automation Engineer 1594SimoTech require a DeltaV Automation Engineer to join our team, supporting one of our leading pharmaceutical clients based in Cork.The successful candidate must have a minimum of 5 years' experience in automation engineering, on-site in a pharmaceutical facility. The role involves the design, development and testing of DeltaV code, as well as working with engineers from other disciplines to support projects.Key Responsibilities

Creation of automation Functional and Detailed Design documents.
Coding of DeltaV Control Modules, Equipment Modules and Phase Classes.
Reviewing and testing DeltaV code.
Support walkthroughs and reviews of code with clients.
Conduct commissioning and qualification activities.
Production support.
Support other teams, such as validation and C&Q, with projects.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science or Life Sciences.
Must have 5+ years demonstrated DeltaV batch automation experience, on-site in a pharmaceutical environment.
Knowledge/Experience of Centrifuge operation.
Strong knowledge of S-88 Batch standard.
Good understanding of GAMP, regulatory requirements and computer system validation.
Strong ability to collaborate and communicate with other engineering and business functions.
