Health and Safety Officer

• Our client was established in 1994, and is a leading independent provider of specialist consultancy and training services.
• Their specialist team leverages their years of experience providing health and safety services combined with the latest digital tools to provide a holistic approach for their customers.

• You will deliver safety officer solutions within the Health and Safety field to their strong and growing, nationwide client base.
• As a health and safety officer, you will use your knowledge and skills to promote a positive health and safety culture in the workplace for their clients.
• You will work with a range of clients from small businesses to multinationals as a health and safety practitioner conducting risk assessment surveys, you will also plan, implement, monitor, and review protective and preventative safety measures.
• There are opportunities to grow within this role to Health & Safety Consultant and working in the manufacturing, construction, energy and many more sectors.

• Certificate / Level 8 Degree qualification or its equivalent in Health and Safety is required.
• QQI Training, Delivery and Evaluation certification would be desirable.
• Train the Trainer for Manual Handling would be desirable.
• Train the Trainer for Abrasive Wheels would be desirable.
• Train the Trainer for Working at Heights would be desirable.
• Minimum of 3 – 5 years experience in the construction sector is required.
• Knowledge of Irish Health and Safety legislation is a must.
• Must be fluent in English and be eligible to work in Ireland.
• Full driving license.

• €35 – 45,000 salary
