Are you a chartered accountant with 3+ years post qualified experience looking to move into management? A well estabilished family owned business is looking to hire a Finance Manager. The successful candidate will be instrumental in shaping the finance function and supporting the Head of Finance through the upcoming ERP transition.Who should apply?This role suits a qualified accountant with 3+ years' senior finance experience, ideally with an audit background. The successful candidate will manage the finance team, deliver timely management accounts, support budgeting and planning, and maintain strong controls. Ideal for a hands-on, driven professional with strong leadership, organisational, and problem-solving skills who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.Responsibilites:

Manage the finance team overseeing AP, AR, collections, stock, banking, tax, P&L and balance sheet reporting, and daily finance operations
Prepare timely monthly management accounts with insightful commentary and analysis
Produce monthly KPIs and other financial metrics to support decision-making
Lead external audits and ensure accurate financial reporting
Maintain strong internal controls and drive continuous improvement across finance processes
Support budgeting, variance analysis, financial modelling, and the development of systems, policies, and procedures for effective financial management

Requirements:

Fully qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA/CPA) with 3+ years' experience in a senior finance or accounting role; audit background is an advantage
Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills with a proactive and driven mindset
Excellent time management, organisational abilities, and a proven ability to prioritise and solve problems effectively
