Tax Senior

• Reviewing Work: You will be responsible for reviewing work and assignments prepared by trainees.
• Client Advisory: Provide clients with advice on all relevant tax issues, including re-structures and retirement planning.
• Technical Research: Keep up-to-date with changes in the tax sector and resolve technical issues throughout the compliance process.
• Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with Partners, Managers, and other professionals within the firm, assisting colleagues with tax queries.
• Skill Development: Enhance practice proficiency in Tax, specifically Corporation Tax, Payroll Advice, and Revenue Audit.
• Consultancy Projects: Play a key role in tax advisory and planning projects, prepare consultancy assignment reports, and liaise with Revenue on clients' behalf.
• Staff Management: Oversee and develop junior staff, ensuring their growth and proficiency.

• Experience: 3+ years of general tax/accounting practice experience, currently working as a senior in a practice/tax consultancy environment.
• Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of Accounting and Tax Standards, experience with Sage Taxpro, ROS, Excel (Advanced preferable), DRIVE, Virtual Cabinet, and Microsoft Suite.
• Personal Attributes: Highly organized, strong communication skills, confident, calm, and resilient. Experience in dealing with trainees and managing client relationships is essential.
