Job DescriptionAn amazing opportunity has arisen for an Associate Specialist Process Engineer. This position is for in the technical area of the formulation facility.Our Formulation R&D facility is the first purpose-built facility supporting oral solid dosage commercialisation within the company network. Within this facility new drug product processes are developed, scaled up and optimised using cutting edge manufacturing technology to provide product for clinical trials and commercial supply.The role reports to the technical lead.What you will do:Bring energy, knowledge, innovation and leadership to carry out the following:
  • Providing strong technical support to production teams including support to daily operations, problem solving/issue resolution and driving continuous improvement.
  • Leading process and equipment optimisation in order to sustain and improve product quality, yields and throughput.
  • Working with Process Development and Commercialisation Group to integrate new products into the facility either as new process development entities or as product transfer from another manufacturing facility.
What skills you will need:In order to excel in this role, you will more than likely have:
  • Bachelors or postgraduate degree in Chemical or Process Engineering or a Science related discipline.
  • Have minimum of 2 years relevant experience in Oral Solid Dosage.
  • Have excellent communication skills and technical writing skills.
  • Have strong problem solving skills.
