- Develop and design high-performance software architecture for the Cubic platform that ensures horizontal and vertical scaling to meet our growing business needs.
- Define technical strategies and ensure alignment with product and business requirements.
- Provide technical leadership in architectural decision-making and advise senior leadership.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of products in line with architectural designs.
- Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for architectural designs, guidelines, and best practices.
- Mentor and support engineers on architectural concepts as well as conduct code reviews where necessary to provide constructive feedback and govern coding standards.
- Implement and advocate for best practices in our software development lifecycle.
- Keep on top of industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend improvements and innovations that drive efficiencies and/or value add.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in the software industry, with a proven track record of technical leadership in a SaaS / product lead organisation.
- Proven experience as a Software Architect, with a focus on .NET and Azure technologies, in a product development environment.
- Strong proficiency in software and systems engineering, specifically in a .NET environment
- Solid understanding of security principles and best practices.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- A strategic thinker with strong problem-solving abilities and a results driven mindset.
- Leadership experience in guiding development teams.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
