- Have you experience in interpretating regulation and/or someone with a Credit Risk background with an understanding of regulatory guideline that underpin the Credit Policy suite?
- Have you a thirst for developing your regulatory knowledge further in this space?
- Are you as self-starter capable of bringing colleagues from different viewpoints together to achieve optimum solutions?
- Do you enjoy stakeholder engagement and are willing to expand within the role given that the role requires broader enterprise interactions?
- Develop and maintain up-to-date knowledge of IRB regulatory requirements by leveraging both programme and Group compliance processes.
- Provide support in the provision of regulatory guidance to IRB programme colleagues.
- Develop knowledge of internal IRB control environment in order to be in a position to provide guidance on internal controls required to mitigate IRB regulatory risks.
- Ensure that decision points are adequately evidenced.
- Adhere to the Regulatory Workstream ways of working with other workstreams in the Programme.
- Building effective relationships with colleagues within/outside the programme to achieve deliverables. This includes representing the workstream on working groups/programme forums.
- Communicate outcomes and recommendations clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Provide support in all processes relating to the workstream as and when required.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in interpretating regulatory requirements and/or knowledge of the credit risk control environment.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Highly motivated, with a proven ability to work on own initiative within a challenging and dynamic work environment. A willingness to work hard to get up to speed on IRB regulatory requirements.
- Proven ability of building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience representing your team on working groups/programme forums and managing prioritisation of tasks day to day.
