A well-established roofing and cladding contractor based in the West of Ireland is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis. Known for delivering high-quality commercial, industrial, and domestic projects, the company offers a collaborative environment and strong pipeline of work across the region.
Role Overview:
This is a site-based role located in County Galway. The successful candidate will support the commercial team in all aspects of cost management and reporting, working closely with project managers to ensure accurate financial control across multiple roofing and cladding projects.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and manage Bills of Quantities (BOQs)
Assist with cost planning, forecasting, and value engineering
Monitor project costs from tender stage through to final account
Produce regular cost reports and maintain accurate records
Support procurement and subcontractor engagement
Liaise with site teams and clients to ensure financial targets are met

Key Requirements:

3–5 years of experience in a Quantity Surveying role
Strong skills in cost management, planning, and reporting
Proficiency in preparing BOQs and managing project finances
Excellent communication and organizational abilities
Ability to work effectively as part of a project team
Experience in roofing, cladding, or a similar subcontracting sector is an advantage
Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field
