
Lead / Senior Building Services Engineer (Data centre projects)

- Design, Manage and Coordinate production of all Building Services systems, including HVAC, Utilities, Plumbing and Fire Protection for large scale projects.
- Lead the design from concept and BoD through Detailed Design and Construction Administration (design support during construction)
- Act as a SME and further develop PM Group’s design capability
- Attend design team meetings
- Conduct onsite inspections
- Develop and guide team working under your supervision
- Liaise and interact with the wider project team including designers, client and contractor
- Ensure that designs are in accordance with applicable codes and standards, e.g. Irish Building Regulations, CIBSE Design Guides, British Standards and Health & Safety Regulations
- 10+ years’ experience in the design of Building Services systems, preferably in a consultancy environment in the datacentre or similar industrial sectors such as lifesciences, oil and gas, semi-conductor
- Competent in design software such as Fluid Flow or Pipe-Flo.
- Honours degree (NFQ Level 8 for Ireland) preferably in Building Services or Mechanical engineering.
- Experience of working in a collaborative BIM environment
- Chartered Engineer preferred
