- Lead a team of finance business partners and graduates to drive performance and deliver finance priorities across two divisions.
- Collaborate with and influence senior management to drive business performance, ensuring high-quality financial decisions.
- Provide objective financial advice and opinions that positively impact the business's future choices.
- Identify and drive financial efficiency with the division's leadership teams, ensuring effective resource allocation with a focus on cost control and value-for-money.
- Challenge spend plans objectively and proactively seek opportunities to deliver services more efficiently and effectively.
- Ensure the Capital Allocation framework is applied efficiently and enhanced as needed.
- Monitor financial performance to achieve financial objectives.
- Conduct monthly performance reviews with the Deputy CFO, VPs, and CFO.
- Manage smooth annual planning processes for multiyear strategic plans, financial budgets, and monthly forecasts.
- Lead the Wholesale & Shared Services monthly processes, including KPIs and Profit and Loss, ensuring timely and accurate reporting for senior leadership and CFO review.
- Oversee and manage Capital Investment governance processes and controls.
- Review business cases and support the business in obtaining budgets for high-return investment opportunities for the divisions.
- Qualified Accountant, Big 4 trained or from a leading plc.
- At least 2-3 years PQE.
- Solid experience in a previous business partner role is essential.
- Financial planning experience is essential.
- Advanced financial modelling skills.
- Ability to analyze trends to understand key drivers and their historical and future impacts.
- Ability to translate complex financial analysis into layman's terms for business communication.
- Prior experience leading finance professionals.
