- Manage and maintain effective communication with the client and wider project stakeholders.
- Prepare and implement method statements and risk assessments for mechanical construction activities, ensuring all HVAC deliverables are completed in line with project, quality, and safety requirements.
- Coordinate closely with the project team to sequence mechanical installations, including pipework, to meet programme milestones and scheduled dates.
- Manage the project commercially from handover from estimating through to technical procurement of equipment, specialist subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Assist in the documentation and costing of scope changes, including preparation of monthly valuations and contribution to the final account.
- Manage and monitor the two-week look-ahead programme in conjunction with the project team.
- Ensure labour resources are planned, mobilised, and maintained in line with programme requirements.
- Maintain a high standard of workmanship and quality, managing and coordinating subcontractor activities on site.
- Ensure all variations and delays are identified, documented, and formally notified to project management.
- Verify that all plant and materials delivered to site meet agreed specifications and are coordinated, stored, and handled safely and securely.
- Ensure full compliance with all health, safety, environmental, and governance requirements on site.
- Relevant bachelor’s or master’s in mechanical-related degree or equivalent qualification.
- Previous experience in a Mechanical Construction Manager or similar role within an M&E contracting environment is desirable.
- Data centre experience is advantageous but not essential.
- Strong organisational, communication, and time management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple work fronts in a fast-paced, deadline-driven site environment.
