• Assist patients with personal care tasks, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
• Help with mobility support, transfers, and basic exercises as required.
• Monitor and record patients' vital signs and report any significant changes to the medical team.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to patients.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment, following infection control and health and safety guidelines.
• Assist with activities of daily living and any special patient needs as directed by healthcare professionals.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and report patient conditions clearly and accurately.

• Minimum of 6 months of relevant experience as a Healthcare Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
• Relevant certification Essential (e.g., Fetac Level 5 in Healthcare Support, QQI Award with full 8 modules, or equivalent)
• Up-to-date manual handling and infection control training (training can be provided if needed).
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• A caring and professional approach to patient care.
