The Shipping Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that Customer Orders & 3PL shipments are packed and shipped in accordance with the relevant shipping procedures and instructions. Provides sales support to customers, sales representatives, and other internal staff to ensure timely processing of customer orders and inquiries; and resolution of problems.Total responsibility for the following:
  • Ensure that shipments are booked in advance with the correct forwarding agents.
  • Provides sales support to customers, sales representatives, and other internal staff to ensure timely processing of customer orders and inquiries; and resolution of problems.
  • Receive, process and enter orders into computer system. (Includes price checking, updating customer information, conducting credit checks, etc.)
  • Provide customer service including taking and expediting orders, communicating, order information, addressing inquiries and researching/resolving problems.
  • Coordinate with other departments to communicate customer information and address customer inquiries.
  • Provide sales support to traveling sales representatives.
  • Attend and actively participate in team meetings.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by Senior Supply Chain Specialist.
Education and Experience Requirements:Requires Level 5 Leaving CertificateRelevant experienceGood telephone and communication skills (written and verbal)· Strong organization skills and attention to details· Computer proficiency including ERP an advantageWeekly hours : Mon to Fri 8.00-4.30
