This Environmental Specialist position is open to recent graduates and those with H&S experience who would like to move into an environmental role.Easily commutable from within counties Meath, Cavan, Louth, Monaghan, Armagh and Westmeath.Requirements:Holder of an Environmental Qualification.Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office.Able to write detailed reports with good communication and data analysis skills.Able to support audits and compliance improvement.Enjoys working within a fast-paced environment at times, and always to a high standard.Key Duties & Responsibilities:Support local business units with site environmental plans, matters and statistics.Review, respond and update on EPA communications.Environmental monitoring and ensuring compliance with the regional management requirements.Provide auditing support, submission of a range of regulatory reports and liaise with regulatory authorities (EPA, local Councils and community).Weekly reporting on site performance and communicating advice on environmental matters and upcoming EU and National Legislation.Administration of regulatory systems.Provide necessary assistance in procurement of consultants and contractors, management of external consultants engaged on a wide range of projects.Act as the point of contact for Regional EHS for all matters.If you have the relevant qualifications and experience and are interested in this position, please apply now and Ciara who is based in our Northeast office will be in contact if you are suitable.If you are living in Ireland and hold a VALID WORK PERMIT, please feel free to contact us directly.
