Position: Care Manager Location: Waterford City & Wexford Town Salary: €35,000 per annum + performance bonus Hours: Full-time, 30 hours per week | Monday - Friday | 8am-4.30pm x 4 days and 8am - 3.30pm x 1 day Start Date: Immediate (subject to Garda Vetting) Key Responsibilities: Team Leadership: Manage and inspire a team of 10 staff members across catering, cleaning, and housekeeping departments. Quality Assurance: Ensure high standards of hygiene and service delivery, complying with health and safety regulations. Financial Oversight: Maintain accurate financial records and operate within agreed budget levels. Operational Excellence: Oversee the entire food cycle from preparation to delivery, ensuring quality and efficiency. Compliance: Enforce statutory and company policies related to occupational health and safety, hygiene, and cleanliness. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for service enhancement and implement best practices. Ideal Candidate: Proven experience in a similar managerial role within the care sector. Strong leadership and people management skills. Excellent communication and negotiation abilities. Solid understanding of budgeting and financial management.
