Weathermaster Kerry is a leading provider of quality windows, doors, and installation services. We work with both homeowners and businesses, delivering excellent products and customer service. Placement Overview: This is a 30-hours-per-week, 6-month placement under the Work Placement Experience Programme. You will work alongside our sales and admin team, gaining practical experience in customer service, sales processes, and office administration. You will receive training and support from an assigned supervisor and mentor. What You Will Learn and Do: • Shadow team members to learn how we handle customer sales enquiries in person, by phone, and online. • Assist in scheduling appointments and maintaining diaries. • Learn how to update and maintain customer records in our CRM system. • Support the preparation of supplier orders and track deliveries. • Gain experience in preparing sales reports and other admin tasks. • Support the Finance Manager with basic bookkeeping tasks. • Assist in maintaining brochures, displays, and marketing materials. • Work with our marketing team to learn how we keep website and digital content up to date. • Help in keeping the showroom clean, tidy, and ready for customers. • Learn professional communication skills when dealing with customers and suppliers.Role Description This is a training and work experience opportunity; no prior experience in this role is necessary. Accredited and/or sector recognised training will be provided to support your placement. Participants are eligible to participate in the WPEP QQI Work Experience Module which was developed by the Education & Training Boards in collaboration with the Department of Social Protection. This optional module will fulfil your accredited training requirements for the WPEP. Training and Support: - You will be paired with both a supervisor and a mentor. - A minimum of 60 hours of training will be provided, including accredited training where possible. - Training will cover customer service, office systems, CRM software, and product knowledge.
