We are seeking empathetic and motivated Support Workers to join our team in a dynamic day service setting. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing person-centered care and fostering independence, skill development, and community integration for individuals with autism.Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct support to individuals in a respectful, dignified, and professional manner.
- Assist with daily activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and community outings.
- Implement individualized support plans and participate in goal setting.
- Promote social inclusion and encourage participation in activities.
- Maintain accurate records and adhere to health and safety standards.
- Work collaboratively with the team, families, and other professionals to ensure holistic care.
- QQI Level 5 or equivalent in Healthcare, Social Care, or a related field.
- Experience working with individuals with autism or in a similar support role.
- Full driver’s license.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- A positive attitude and a commitment to promoting independence.
- Garda Vetting and references are required.
