CAD Detailer | County Cavan | Full Time | £35,000-£40,000 DOEOur client specialises in providing innovative and customisable modular building options for a diverse range of applications, from residential add-ons and commercial buildings to educational and healthcare facilities.They are looking for a skilled CAD detailer to join their team. The CAD Detailer will be working under the guidance of the design lead whilst coordinating with other departments to produce detailed drawings of modular buildings. This role requires the individual to swap between projects simultaneously, due to the nature of modular design allowing for concurrent timelines.Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential to ensure an efficient and healthy workflow. All designs produced must be accurate and adhere to all building regulations and the relevant guidance documentation. Having a high level of organisation is a must to maintain revisions of drawings at different stages and ensure all the relevant parties have the latest up to date drawings.Are you the right person for the job?
  • 2 Years of experience in a similar role
  • Proficiency in Revit
  • Proven ability to work independently and use own initiative effectively
  • Excellent organisational skills
What will your role look like?
  • Sketching initial designs at the tender stage
  • Producing 3D models of projects within Revit
  • Producing structural steel drawings and coordinating with assembly teams to communicate design intent
  • Producing renders of proposed construction
  • Drafting fabrication drawings for the workshop
  • Revising drawings as necessary and re-issuing to relevant parties
  • Assisting in producing specifications on a project basis, matching both the client’s needs and the company's standard procedures
  • Admin work such as gathering data sheets and compiling technical submittals
