Reporting into the Vice President, you will be working in a dynamic and collaborative environment.Job Duties:Accurate booking of client accounts into the AW reinsurance systemArranging claim and broker payments requestsUpdating cash books, reconciliation and allocation of cash received/ paidMonitoring of reinsurance premium receivable and following up with the broker on overdue itemsRunning of monthly and quarterly reinsurance reportsProducing monthly and quarterly production reports for UnderwritingEnsuring compliance with established internal controls and proceduresPerformance of additional ad-hoc/ analytical duties as and when requiredLiaising with various groups both within and outside of the organization, including Underwriting, Brokers, internal and external auditDisaster recovery and testing of reinsurance system upgradesQualificationsJob Requirements:Initiative-taking and able to work efficiently with minimal supervisionMaintain a prominent level of professionalism, integrity and trustAbility to work under pressure to meet deadlines and changing prioritiesStrong diligence, excellent analytical and effective communication skillsGood collaborator with flexibility to adapt and grow as responsibilities increaseComputer literate particularly in ExcelRole would suit graduate, a person with some insurance/ reinsurance experience and/or someone working towards a professional accounting qualification for example ACCA - not a requirement to be considered for the positionWorking at Allied WorldOur team of over 1,600 professionals has deep expertise in the industry.
