We’ve been focused on public sector employees for over 50 years, learning how to bring our clients the best financial services – from car, home, health and life insurance, to income protection, retirement planning and beyond.Role PurposeReporting to the Head of Trading this role will play a central part in the delivery our ambitious strategy to remediate and transform the business by developing our data capability and deliver actionable insights.The role is broad in scope encompassing (but not limited to) :Building out fit for purpose Management Information suite, ensuring it is accurate, up-to-date, and displayed using the best tools available to us within Cornmarket. Familiarity with Power BI & Salesforce would be advantageousContinuous monitoring of performance to plan along a broad suite of metrics including business, financial and operationalWorking collaboratively to develop conversion, retention and propensity modelling allowing us to work effectively with marketing on matching spend to opportunityIdentifying then actioning the most effective ways to engage customers and use available technology to bring campaigns to life (Salesforce / Genesys / Applied)Optimising our commission & fee to drive business positive outcomesDeveloping and preparing trading packs is an essential element of business partner engagement; the successful candidate will develop our capability here and participate in insurer trading meetingsTaking control of our Renewal & Recanvas campaigns measuring their effectiveness, prioritising campaigns, identifying high potential segments based on data insights and working with both GI & Health Management to ensure campaigns are resourced and actionedDeveloping close and collaborative relationships with internally colleagues and external business partners will be essentialThe role can involve various tasks and responsibilities with occasional ad hoc requestsAccountabilities of the RoleSupport Trading Management to deliver the annual objective setting processBuild data pipelines using data analysis techniques to solve business problemsMaintain and improve reporting capability in both trading / operations and financialsDerive insights from analysis of large internal or external data sets and recommend potential business usesUse these insights to build, measure and enable both GI & Health Recanvas journeysAssist in developing models based on evidential data to assist in forward business planningReview model performances and execute model rebuild and/or adjustments when requiredSupport the monthly production of monitoring processes for allocated classesWork with internal and external counter parts to ensure we learn best practicesBuild strong relationships with the Insurer panel and provide actionable insightsSkills & Knowledge RequiredDegree Level Education is desirable (Scientific / Analytic or Business would be advantageous)Strong written and verbal skills and ability to communicate to both technical and non-technical audiencesAbility to communicate effectively with business stakeholders and to translate business requirements for technical developmentStrong business process definition capabilities, including the ability to capture process flows visually according to standard methodologiesStrong partnering skills and ability to work within a collaborative team environmentIntroductory level to or an interest in developing project management skills in line with the company project methodologyCommercial awareness with a minimum of 2 years' experience in a data/analytics roleBehavioural Competencies RequiredStrong critical thinking skills and decision makingOwnership & accountability for deliveryBuilding and maintaining relationshipsCommunicating and influencingPlanning and organising – an ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritizeEqual Opportunities & Data Privacy NoticeCornmarket is committed to building an inclusive workplace environment, We’re proud to be an equal opportunity employer, striving to create a welcoming environment.
