Category ManagerLeinster (Flexible Location)A leading Irish food supplier is looking to appoint a Category Manager to take ownership of a high-volume potato portfolio across foodservice.This is a commercial role with real influence. You’ll shape category strategy, work closely with key customers, and drive growth across a well-established product range.The RoleYou will lead the development and performance of the potato category across Ireland.
  • Own the category strategy across retail and foodservice
  • Manage a full portfolio including chips, fries, wedges, cubes and chilled potato products
  • Work closely with key customers including contract catering, fast food groups and QSR operators
  • Analyse sales, pricing and market trends to drive growth
  • Partner with NPD, sales and supply chain on product development and launches
  • Build strong supplier relationships, including international partners
  • Identify gaps and opportunities to expand the range
About YouYou understand this category and the customer base.
  • Strong experience in category management, buying or commercial roles within food
  • Direct exposure to potato products or a closely related chilled/produce category
  • Knowledge of the Irish foodservice market, especially fast food and QSR
  • Commercially sharp with strong pricing and margin awareness
  • Confident working with both customers and suppliers
  • Data-driven, with the ability to turn insight into action
