HVAC Engineer | Tallaght, Dublin | Full Time, Permanent | Mon–Thurs 8:30 am–5:15 pm, Fri 8:30 am–4:15 pm | €45,000 – €55,000 (Depending on experience)Our client, a growing mechanical contracting company operating across commercial, industrial, residential, and public sector projects throughout Ireland, is looking for an experienced HVAC Engineer to join their service and maintenance team.Are you the right person for the job?
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in HVAC engineering
  • Good diagnostic and problem-solving skills – Heating Systems, Plumbing Systems, Air Conditioning Systems, commercial ideally
  • The capacity to understand a range of engineering functions and procedures
  • F-Gas Certification or RGII or relevant City & Guilds Craft Certificate
  • Excellent proactive communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Good Electrical knowledge
  • Good customer service skills
  • Full Irish driver’s licence
What will your role look like?As an HVAC Engineer, you will be responsible for the servicing, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems across a range of mainly commercial sites.Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Servicing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems, including regular maintenance
  • Inspecting equipment and services under Paragon’s remit
  • Diagnosing and repairing system faults and breakdowns
  • Providing clear updates and reports to clients and internal teams
  • Ensuring all work is carried out to health and safety standards and in line with industry regulations
