Galway Tool and Mould Ltd is seeking a skilled Senior Injection Moulding Process Engineer to join our dynamic team. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity based in Galway City. Salary is negotiable based on relevant experience. Key Responsibilities Process Development & Optimization Design and implement injection moulding processes for new moulds Conduct trials and scientific moulding studies to ensure process robustness Troubleshoot moulding issues and provide solutions to improve product quality Collaborate with customers and material suppliers Develop and maintain process documentation, including SOPs and troubleshooting guides Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards Work with design, manufacturing, and quality teams to optimize part designs for manufacturability Provide technical training and mentorship to technicians and operators Qualifications Bachelor's degree in mechanical, Plastics, or similar relevant experience/qualification 3-5 years of experience in injection moulding operations Strong understanding of moulding machines, tooling, and materials Experience with scientific moulding principles and process simulation tools
