Job Description:An excellent opportunity exists for an enthusiastic and experienced lawyer to join our We are seeking applications from solicitors or barristers with 1-4 years' relevant post qualified experience (PQE).The TeamEU, Competition & Procurement Group is widely recognised as the leading and most experienced team in its field in Ireland and Northern Ireland. The team deals with large and complex national and international deals. It works continuously with the private and public sector as well as with national and international clients. The team is equally adept at dealing with smaller though highly important matters.We specialise in the following main areas:Competition Law (including Cartels and Abuse of Dominance), , , Foreign Direct Investment ControlTransport, .We provide a seamless service to clients, often working in close collaboration with lawyers and economists in other jurisdictions and our clients' other advisors.We are unique in Ireland because:

Requirements:The successful candidate will ideally be an experienced Lawyer with;
  • 1-4 years PQE in EU, competition and, ideally, procurement law,
  • Hard-working, enthusiastic, self-motivated, proactive and dedicated team member,
  • An ability to work effectively within a team,
  • Strong technical, legal and analytical skills,
  • Showing a deep interest in the team's areas of expertise,
  • A keen interest in knowledge and continuous development,
  • Proficient drafting skills,
  • Excellent communication skills in the context of both formal and training presentations and the ability to present ideas and initiatives to people,
  • Strong team player with the ability to interact with colleagues at all levels,
  • Inspires confidence in them and their team,
  • Excellent attention to detail,
  • The ability to prioritize work effectively.
