We want you to become the best version of yourself.Join us an HSE - Service Transition SpecialistAs a key member of the HSE Mobile Managed Service (MMS) Team, the Service Transition Specialist plays a central role in ensuring the successful onboarding of new services and smooth operational handovers. This role is integral to maintaining service continuity, stability, and high performance within the HSE Managed Services environment.Working closely with Programme and Project Management, the Transition Specialist ensures all service components are effectively mobilised, coordinated, and embedded into live support. They are responsible for applying industry best practices-including ITIL-aligned Service Transition and Change Management principles-to deliver seamless service introductions and minimise disruption.The role is based at our Limerick Customer Response Centre, supporting a team that delivers 1st and 2nd line support to the HSE. It involves a strong focus on process adherence, quality control, service documentation, and stakeholder coordination.What else it involves
  • Managing the end-to-end Service Transition process for new or updated services, from project kick-off to acceptance into live operations.
  • Coordinating with the MMS team to ensure readiness for new services, including documentation, training, knowledge sharing, and support handover.
  • Acting as the Change Manager, owning the full lifecycle of HSE Change Requests-ensuring changes are planned, approved, implemented, and reviewed effectively.
  • Facilitating Change Advisory Boards in collaboration with the HSE and relevant third parties.
  • Maintaining and continuously improving transition and change management processes to optimise delivery and minimise service impact.
  • Supporting operational reporting, audit readiness, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Working closely with cross-functional teams to align service delivery with contractual SLAs and KPIs.
  • Ensuring that each service transition is fully tracked, quality assured, and supported by defined policies and procedures.
Skills we're looking for
  • Service Management Expertise:
Proven experience in ITIL-based Service Transition and Change Management processes.
  • Project & Delivery Support:
Experience supporting project teams and transitioning services into live environments.
  • Process-Oriented:
Comfortable working with standardised processes, policies, and procedures, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
  • Change Management Experience:
Skilled in managing Change Requests and ensuring minimal disruption to live services.
  • Strong Communication:
Ability to liaise with technical and non-technical stakeholders, including external partners and the HSE.
  • Attention to Detail:
Meticulous in documenting changes, maintaining service records, and tracking transition milestones.
  • Team Collaboration:
Works well as part of a team, supporting the MMS team's shared goals and responsibilities.
  • Problem Solving:
Capable of conducting risk assessments, identifying dependencies, and resolving transition-related issues quickly.
  • Reporting & Analysis:
Comfortable using MS Excel and other tools for reporting on transition activities, changes, and post-implementation reviews.
  • Experience with Salesforce or Similar Tools:
An advantage for tracking transitions, change requests, and maintaining service documentation.Benefits of Working at Three
