- Assist QC Analysts in release/stability testing through ancillary work such as buffer preparation, mobile phase preparation
- Liaise continually with an assigned QC Analyst
- Perform instrument calibrations as required
- Be the Instrument Responsible Person (IRP) for designated equipment, ensuring timely maintenance to the approved schedule, reviewing documentation and raising any concerns
- Maintain equipment to enable efficient use, including wash downs, management of consumables etc
- Support maintenance of lab consumables e.g. reagents, checking expiry dates, returning to the stores etc.
- Maintain own work, documentation and area to a high standard, ensuring audit readiness
- Maintain laboratories to a high housekeeping standard and support 5S activity
- Write and maintain necessary documentation (SOPs, Analyst Guidance Documents) with support and guidance from peers and QA
- Participate in project work as required
- Ensure all relevant training is maintained & up to date
- Maintain a safe working environment, high housekeeping & 5S standards

- Undertaking a Masters Degree in Chemistry or equivalent scientific module.
