Speech and Language Therapist – Newtownmountkennedy, Co. Wicklow19.5 hours per week – Fixed term contract (2 years)Job reference: SLT_NTMK_2808Essential criteria and qualifications required:
  • Recognised Degree in Speech and Language Therapy
  • A minimum of 2 years post graduate experience as a Speech and Language Therapist
  • Current registration with CORU as a Speech and Language Therapist
  • Registration with IASLT desirable
  • Full, clean driving licence with access to a vehicle and business insurance (minimum 2 years and aged 23 years or over for insurance purpose)
  • Permission to work in Ireland essential

Essential skills:
  • Experience in working in adult disability services, particularly in the area of autism
  • Undertake competency assessments for the people we support
  • Be quality conscious and work to ensure high quality standards are maintained
  • Excellent Communication Skills
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • Ability to work alone and on own initiative
  • Ability to work as part of a clinical team
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation

ScheduleThe successful candidate will be based in Newtownmountkennedy, Co. Wicklow but will be required to travel to our services across Leinster as part of the role.
