- Collaborate with a team of data scientists, and engineers to translate stakeholders’ questions into solvable analytical problems
- Create innovative and compelling visualisations that solve those problems across all functions
- Wireframe and build prototypes to define visualisation needs
- Design and build data pipelines
- Implement an agile approach to Business Intelligence, including rapid prototyping, short but frequent development cycles, continuous customer feedback
- Work with the wider C&IN team of developers and data scientists to embed data visualisation best practices
- Understanding data structures, identifying patterns, and drawing insights from raw data is fundamental
- Proficiency in languages like Python, ReactJS and SQL is essential for data manipulation and processing
- Mastery of tools like Tableau/Looker/etc. and others is vital for creating visualizations
- A solid understanding of statistical concepts like correlation, regression, and probability is needed to represent data accurately
- Understanding design principles like color theory, layout, and typography is crucial for creating visually appealing and understandable visualizations
- The ability to effectively communicate data stories and insights to different audiences is key
