- Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirement workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, task, and workflow analysis.
- Analysis of proposed new initiatives assigned by the PMO with production of cost benefit analysis documents including the gathering of estimates for said initiative.
- Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high level information into details, abstract up from low level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs.
- Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers to analyse information needs and functional requirements and deliver the following artefacts as needed: Project Request Form, Business Requirements Document and Use cases.
- They successfully manage the requirements development process through the elicitation, analysis, specification and verification and management of multiple levels of requirements while providing continuous improvement to the process and methods.
- Ability to navigate the IT team and business sponsors through a level of ambiguity including business process change; building organization and structure to requirements to drive out and define detailed requirements in an efficient manner.
- Ensuring that quality business analysis standards are met as prescribed by the PMO through the effective implementation or use of approved processes, methodologies, and deliverables.
- Strong leading consultancy background with experience of the Transport industry, with experience of advising clients on how to improve their business’ operations, including cost reduction, simplification, and automation. (Essential)
- Experience of requirements gathering and process design in EAM systems such as SAP, Maximo, Oracle, Infor at a minimum, but a breadth of different technologies is desirable.
- Senior stakeholder management experience (Essential)
- Leading discovery and Business Process Re-Engineering workshops (Essential)
- Proficient with Storyboarding and initial vision alignment (for multiple stakeholders) (Essential)
- Experience of using SIPOC documentation, and BMPN process flow design in Visio or ARIS tools.
- Proficient in flow design (wire-framing) and prototype construction and presentation (e.g., Adobe & Figma)
- Proficient in compiling and scoring of RFQs/RFPs
- Highly experienced in both Waterfall and Agile delivery
- Proficient with Event-driven Process Chain notation
- Proficient with Business Process Modelling and Notation v2.0
- Proficient in the use of mind-mapping techniques to drive workshops to successful conclusions
- Proficient in explaining complex systemic or software architectural constraints to the Business stakeholders
- Firm grasp of the grant-funded model (multiple dimensions)
- Capable of using interpersonal skills at every level of the organisation
- Full understanding of, and experience of Behavioural Driven Development concepts
- Full understanding of, and experience of Test-Driven Development concepts
- Full understanding of the importance of UX/UI concepts and their early adoption in the project life cycle
- Experienced team player but likewise able to operate independently
- You should hold a degree or diploma in related area or commensurate experience and six sigma / lean practitioner, business analysis, or equivalent.
- An Institute of Asset Management Diploma or similar.
