A leading construction and modular delivery specialist, focused on quality, safety, and innovation, is looking for a proactive and committed Health & Safety Officer to join their Dublin-based team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a safety professional eager to advance their career within a forward-thinking company that values continuous improvement, collaboration, and accountability.Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance with current health & safety legislation across active sites
  • Conduct regular site audits, inspections, and risk assessments
  • Support project teams in implementing and maintaining the site-specific Safety Statement and Method Statements
  • Deliver toolbox talks and safety briefings to site personnel and subcontractors
  • Investigate and report any incidents or near misses, recommending preventive actions
  • Maintain health & safety documentation and support continuous improvement
  • Assist with induction training for new employees and subcontractors
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Health & Safety role within the construction industry
  • Relevant H&S qualification (e.g., Higher Cert/Diploma in Health & Safety or equivalent)
  • Working knowledge of Irish health and safety legislation
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
  • Full driver’s licence and willingness to travel between sites if required
