We are currently recruiting Personal Assistants to support students with disabilities across several university and college campuses in Dublin, including Tallaght, Grangegorman, Blanchardstown, Whitehall, and Aungier Street.This is a term-time role, Monday to Friday, providing one-to-one assistance to students in a higher education environment.Key Responsibilities:As a Personal Assistant (PA), you will provide both academic and healthcare-related support, helping students fully participate in campus life. Duties may include:
- Assisting with mobility and orientation around college buildings and campus grounds
- Pushing a wheelchair or providing physical support as needed
- Supporting in the event of an emergency evacuation in accordance with the student’s Personal Emergency Evacuation Plan (PEEP)
- Carrying personal items, including books, folders, and study materials
- Assisting in sourcing and accessing educational materials, such as collecting library books or using photocopying services
- Providing personal care support in a respectful and discreet manner, where required
- QQI Level 5 in Healthcare/Social Care
- HSE Land (online) & Practical CPR/Patient Handling Certificates
- Strong communication skills and a professional attitude
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions precisely
- Reliability and punctuality are essential
- Previous experience in a care, healthcare, or education support role

- Ability to take on extra shifts on an agency basis in a wide range of facilities
