We're hiring a Principal Network Engineer to join one of Ireland's most respected tech-centric employers, leading the charge on enterprise-level network architecture, security, and performance.
This is a 100% remote position, open only to those based in Ireland with valid EU/Stamp 4 status.💼 What You'll Be Doing:
- Lead the design, build, and maintenance of secure, scalable network infrastructure.
- Architect firewalls, routing/switching, VPNs, and Wi-Fi environments.
- Work closely with InfoSec to ensure robust network security posture.
- Mentor junior engineers and act as subject matter expert across the org.
- Troubleshoot, tune, and optimise enterprise network performance.🎯 Ideal Profile:
- Expert in enterprise firewalls (Palo Alto), routing protocols (BGP/OSPF), Juniper, and cloud networking.
- Strong scripting/automation mindset (Python/Bash).
- Experience in large-scale, complex environments (cloud and on-prem).
