- Deliver a high-quality service in line with professional, national, and local standards
- Work in accordance with current legislation, policies, and procedures
- Promote person-centred care, recovery principles, and service user rights
- Support residents with daily living needs including personal care, nutrition, social and independent living skills
- Contribute to the planning, implementation, and evaluation of care plans as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Maintain accurate records and uphold strict confidentiality
- Ensure the safety and wellbeing of residents, including participation in crisis management when required
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and external agencies
- Participate in team meetings, training, and continuous professional development
- Support the day-to-day operations of the residential service
- Comply with health & safety standards and report any risks or incidents
- Engage with inspections and implement any required improvements
- Strong understanding of best practice in supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities
- Ability to apply professional judgement and deliver safe, effective care
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office (or willingness to learn)
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Flexible, adaptable, and responsive to changing needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a compassionate, respectful approach
