The Hodson Bay Hotel are excited to recruit Food and Beverage Assistants to join our friendly Food and Beverage team in our Bar & Brasserie teams.We are interested in candidates who have full time availability. We have a variety of shifts available to suit all needs across the afternoon & evening shifts. Candidates must be flexible to work across weekdays (& weekends, when needed).The Hodson Bay Hotel is part of the Hodson Bay Group. They should also have the ability to work well under pressure.Main Duties:

To carry out all Food & Beverage assistant duties as per the agreed standards.
To assist and carry out duties for the Restaurant, Bar and Brasserie when necessary
To participate in training as required by Supervisor or Manager.
To be responsible for the service of the Restaurant, Bar, Brasserie, or Banqueting where directed.
To ensure the highest levels of Customer Care are practised at all times.
To carry out the Hotel’s customer relations policy.
To communicate Hotel services to guests.
To ensure cash/vouchers and all forms of payment are handled in a secure and responsible manner in all Food & Beverage Outlets
To ensure a high standard of personal hygiene and grooming.
To wear relevant uniform and name badge at all times.
To ensure that reasonable care is taken for the Health & Safety of yourself, other employees, guests and any other persons on the Hotel premises.
Any other duties as directed by management.

A little bit about you:

1 year Food & Beverage experience desired
Knowledge of drinks and cocktails preferred, but not essential
Available to work mid-week shifts essential (& weekends when needed)
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to take initiative and anticipate customer needs
Enjoy working in a fast paced environment
