
Field Service Engineer

- Carry out the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and modification of complex machinery at customer sites in line with established standards.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and communicate effectively with the support team to implement timely, practical solutions.
- Provide on-site training and guidance to operators, offering technical support during both production and shutdown periods.
- Build strong relationships with customers by proactively addressing recurring issues and ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
- Work closely with the sales team to identify new opportunities and represent the client at trade shows and industry events.
- A recognised qualification in mechatronics, industrial mechanics, electronics, or a related field or equivalent hands-on experience.
- Proven experience as a service engineer, ideally with complex, high-spec machinery.
- Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Flexibility to travel both internationally and within Ireland (approx. 40-50% each).
- A proactive, self-motivated attitude with the ability to work independently under pressure.
- Willingness to complete an initial training period in Germany (approximately 3-6 months depending on experience)
