Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET /Dublin/Contract)Our client has requested our assistance in recruiting a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to work in a daily rate contract for a period of 12 months with possible extension.You will join a dedicated automation team to work on an exciting new project, assisting with the overall testing of the product and work with some of the most advanced technologies.The daily rate offered will be €550 per day and after a successful period of settling in, remote working (occasional requests to attend the office will be required, limited to 1-2 times per month)Responsibilities: Work as part of the overall R&D team to complete the overall testing of the new project.Prepare, deliver and record automated test cases and test plansLead a team to review and implement new testing methodologies throughout the projectLiaise with various cross functional stakeholders at all levelsRequirements: Minimum of 5 years software development experienceProven test planning, recording and analysing experienceStrong knowledge of one or more programming language with the ability to write high quality code e.g Java, C#, Python, JavascriptExperience of working in an agile environmentStrong API and data testing experienceAgile environment experienceI specialize in recruiting for Software QA and Testing, if you wish to discuss this or other Software QA and Testing opportunities, please feel free to contact Rachel for a confidential chat.
